Sony Canada has revealed some bad news for its fans today by announcing via its Facebook page that it has ‘no current plans‘ to bring either the Xperia Z4 Tablet or the Xperia Z3+ smartphone to the country. We have the full statement after the break.
“Thank you for all of your inquiries regarding the Xperia Z3+ and Xperia Z4 Tablet. We really appreciate your enthusiasm and we know that you are our most dedicated fans so we wanted to give you an update on these products. Sony Mobile devices are sold in partnership with Canadian carriers and retailers and there are no current plans to bring either of these devices to Canada. There are great new products coming to Canada later this year so keep an eye here for more information. Sorry and thanks for understanding.”
While this isn’t good news for its Canadian fans, Sony has attempted to nullify any resentment by promising that “great new products are coming to Canada later this year.” Basically, it seems that Canadian carriers and retailers have no interest in partnering up with Sony to bring either device to Canada.
