Samson, an industry leader in professional audio solutions and wireless microphones, has announced a slew of new products in Las Vegas this week. Among these products includes their new Samson Meteorite microphone, a USB powered portable microphone focused on capturing crystal-clear quality audio recording on your computer. The Meteorite works with Skype, Facetime, and other video and voice chat services. Samson says this microphone will dominate your laptop or tablets built-in mic, as it uses a studio-quality 14mm capsule and dedicated audio-conversion path.
The company has also announced a sibling microphone called the Go Mic Direct as seen above, which provides even more portable use, as the microphone has a built-in USB plug to attached right to your laptop or electronic. The Go Mic Direct has noise-cancelling software built into it which is suitable for noisy environments.
