The Samsung Galaxy S6 may have a curved edge screen a la the Note Edge on both sides

Samsung Galaxy S6We’ve been cautiously intrigued by news about the Samsung Galaxy S6 after rumours Samsung would be re-developing the device from the ground up. What this refresh actually means is anyone’s guess, but a supposed leak dropped by HDBlog.it has suggested it may involve something similar to the Galaxy Note Edge. Specifically, the leaks says that there will be two variants of the Galaxy S6, one a regular smartphone and the other a device with a curved edge display, much like the Note Edge. But what differentiates it from the current Note Edge will apparently be that this curved edge will be found on both side edges of the device.

This would be a very interesting configuration, though we can’t say that we’re completely convinced by the curved edge technology yet (or the price). And launching two variants at the same time wouldn’t be out of the question seeing as Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 4 and the Note Edge at the same time earlier this year. However, if this turns out to be true, the question we’d like answered is whether this would be the extent of Samsung’s ‘refresh’ of the Galaxy S line, or would the regular device also see some revolutionary features too.
