A new revelation made by a handful of users over the weekend suggests that Netflix and Twitter could be looking to bring a new reminder feature for TV show airings. This feature will let you click on a button below a TV show related tweet reading “tweet me a reminder“. This feature is still said to be in the testing stage and we can probably expect to get more clarity over the coming days.
This feature will be accessible on both Android and iOS versions of Twitter, so it won’t be exclusive to a particular mobile platform. Currently, reminders are only being offered for the Netflix original show, Marco Polo, but we can expect support to be added for other shows as well.
This allows Netflix (and Twitter) to conveniently remind you when your favorite show is scheduled to air, rather than having to make do with unnecessary ads or setting up manual reminders.
Are you seeing this feature on your Twitter timeline? Let us know below.
