Motorola’s Moto G is one of this year’s best budget phones. While it doesn’t have overwhelming specs and some users have complained about memory issues, it is hard to argue with the value in what is normally a $179 unlocked phone.
Today only, Amazon is offering the Moto G at a 17 percent discount, bringing it down to a cool $149 for the US and global GSM versions. That puts it in stocking stuffer territory.
This is an especially good deal considering this is the current, second-generation Moto G and not an attempt to liquidate old 2013 models. So if you or that special someone are in the market for an unlocked phone but aren’t yet ready to take the plunge on a Moto X, this could be the holiday deal for you.
