HTC on Tuesday announced its next Android smartphone, the budget-minded 4G LTE-ready Desire 620. Set to do battle with the likes of the Moto G, the phone features a 5-inch 720P HD Super LCD display and 5-megapixel rear camera.

Under the hood we find a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. Users can toss in a microSD card for up to 128GB of additional space. Also noteworthy, the 2100mAh battery is removable.

The Desire 620 will be offered in a variety of color options. Pricing and exact availability is unclear though we should expect it in early 2015 across multiple U.K. carriers. Rumors suggest the Desire 620 could carry a €280 price tag in Europe, or roughly $300 in U.S. currency.
