Android 5.0 Lollipop for the LG G3It’s been over a month since LG announced that Android Lollipop was going to start rolling out to its devices, and it’s been slowly, but surely, rolling out the new update to their flagship smartphone, the LG G3, first. We’re aware of the update hitting LG’s native Korea, but we’re also getting word today that Romania, and other parts of Europe, like Wales, are start to receive Android 5.0 Lollipop for the LG G3. Confirmed by Android Geeks, the update bears Android Lollipop build LRX21R and measures some 520MB, which means you’ll need to be near Wi-Fi before you should attempt updating your device.

Android 5.0 Lollipop for the LG G3The update to the LG G3 is still one of the first for a device that isn’t a Nexus or Google Play edition device, probably mostly thanks to LG’s thinned down UI which almost resembles stock Android. We’ll have to see where the update hits next so stay tuned for more news.
