If you’re still running around trying to find a last-minute gift for someone (or even for yourself), Amazon may be your place to go. Amazon has just announced a huge sale on devices, apps, music, movies and more. Most deals extend to either December 25th or 26th, and feature quite a few big discounts. Let’s dive right in and see what the company is offering!
Apps & media
To start things off, the Amazon Appstore will be seeing quite a few big discounts over the next few days. As part of the largest Free App of the Day bundle the company has ever put on, popular game developers like Halfbrick Studios, Rovio Entertainment and Sega are all included. From December 24-26th, users can grab a number of paid apps – some ranging up to $65 – all for free. Also, the company is offering 50-85% discounts on apps from Disney, Gameloft and Sony from now until December 31st. Starting today customers can also save 30% on all Amazon Coin purchases for a limited time.
There are way too many app discounts to name them all, though you can find all the apps through here. From today until December 25th, a number of popular holiday movies will also be discounted by 50%. Those movies include:
- Dr. Seuss: How the Grinch Stole Christmas
- White Christmas
- Polar Express
- Home Alone
- A Charlie Brown Christmas
- Elf
Amazon is also offering a free holiday playlist to customers, as well as select albums for $3.99 through December 25th. Beginning December 25th and running to the end of the year, select ebooks will be discounted up to 85% off.
Devices
If you’re looking for a gift for someone, these are likely the deals you should check out. Only available for a limited time, you can grab $20 discounts on Amazon’s most popular hardware. The Amazon Fire TV is only $79 with a $20 discount, and a $25 discount brings the Kindle Fire HD 7 down to $114. We’re unsure when the device discount ends, but we’re assuming it will go through the holidays.
