Pebble announced this week that they are rolling out some major updates for their devices and the Android app for Pebble. On the device side of the house, Pebble is rolling out a firmware update that supports several new languages so that users can read their notifications and alerts in their native language. According to Pebble, 98% of their users can get their updates in their native language.

The next big update comes to Android users who have Pebble devices as the company is rolling out a revamped Android app to support their device. The big change with this update is full notification support. Pebblers can now send any and all notifications from their Android powered smartphone to their Pebble device. Users do need a device running at least Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. With that prerequisite in place, users can go into the Notifications –> All Apps menu and select all or none or they can select individual apps. According to Pebble, they are working on an update that will bring this feature to all devices running at least Android 4.0 or higher.

According to Pebble, the changes incorporated into the new Android app also lay the groundwork for future updates and for these updates to roll out on a more regular basis.

In addition to the firmware and Android app updates, Pebble rolled out an update for iOS users as well. They also put in a plug in their announcement for job seekers to apply with Pebble as the company is looking forward to continued growth and expansion.
