The Moto 360 has been out for just over 2 months now and in that time has already become the Motorola is already working on a Moto 360 successor. In a press conference to the Russian media, Motorola’s head of Eastern Europe, Gleb Mishin, dropped more than several hints about the upcoming smartwatch.
Although the Moto 360 and Motorola’s 2nd gen smartphones are yet to arrive in Russia, Mishin suggested the Moto 360 successor would be available around the same time that its first gen counterpart is released in the region, tentatively set as early next year. On a global timeline, that makes quite a lot of sense as the Moto 360 will have been on the market for round about 6 months. Mishin goes on to say that the new wearable will have “a modified design”, be “more like a watch” and be more “beautiful” – we can only assume Motorola has taken criticism on board and is going to change it in the next iteration.
