Latest YouTube update (5.18.5) re-adds 1440p support! [Download link]

It has been sometime now that YouTube has had a bug going on. While it is unknown if it was intentional or unintentional, YouTube did not have support for video in 1440p on mobile devices. The good news today, as found out from Reddit user Flexxkii, the latest YouTube update (5.18.5) has re-added support for 1440p.

There are multiple phones on the market with QHD displays (1440 x 2560), most notably the LG G3, Samsung Galaxy Note 4, and the newly released Nexus 6, so it is about time YouTube fixed this! I myself, have the G3 and I have been seriously lacking some 2K content, so I am very excited that they fixed it.
