Google Play Music makes its way to T-Mobile’s Music Freedom Program along with 13 others

T-Mobile has been shaking up the wireless industry for some time now. One of their more recent initiatives was bringing the ability to stream music from various services in a way that allow you to not use up your data plans to do so. It certainly is nice for those that rely on streaming music streaming services for their tunes often. When T-Mobile made the announcement in June it lacked one of the most important ones for Android users, Google Play Music. They listed it as an upcoming option on their site where users could vote for the next big service that would be added. Unsurprisingly Google Play Music was the most voted.

T-Mobile has announced today that Google Play Music is now part of the Music Freedom initiative. Meaning that if you have switched around to the plans that allow for unlimited music streaming that doesn’t touch your data plans you can stream all the music from Google Play Music you desire. While that is probably the biggest news out of the new additions, at least to me, there are actually 13 more that have also been added into the mix.

  • Xbox Music − ‘All the Music You Love’ on all your devices
  • SoundCloud − Provides access to the world’s largest community of music & audio creators
  • RadioTunes − Features a wide variety of free streaming radio channels
  • Digitally Imported −  The first service in Music Freedom devoted entirely to electronic dance music
  • Fit Radio − A wide selection of great workout songs for the gym
  • Fresca Radio − Delivers 40 channels of the best Latin, Hispanic and Caribbean music
  • JAZZRADIO −  Enjoy endless hours of the best jazz music around
  • Live365 − Thousands of internet radio stations featuring music in every style
  • Mad Genius Radio − For those who like a lot of music and who like their playlists fresh
  • radioPup − Featuring 300+ local radio stations streaming the best music available
  • Radio.com − Original programming including streaming music and more
  • ROCKRADIO − 100% rock, streaming the most diverse variety of rock music online
  • Saavn − All the best Bollywood and Indian music, online and on the go

Mix those in with the previous 13 services that were supported and you now have 27 total services to get as much music as you can handle all day, every day, without worrying about your data being consumed.
