Corning, whose products are currently on over 3 billion devices worldwide and are the leading manufacturer of glass for smartphones, officially announced their latest innovation – Corning Gorilla Glass 4.
The new Gorilla Glass provides two times the damage resistance of competitor glass and has improved durability against drops. According to Corning, it also survives drops of one meter 80 percent of the time.
The images below show impacts on Corning glass. The image on the left is the all-new Gorilla Glass 4 whereas Gorilla Glass 3 can be seen on the right.
