After spending much of the year kicking about the rumor mill, Samsung has finally announced its Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 smartphones. Slated to arrive in select markets (including China) starting in November, the duo designed for a younger demographic who seek “practicality and functionality”.

As the slimmest Samsung smartphones to date, the pair feature full metal unibody designs and will be offered in a variety of color options: Pearl White, Midnight Black, Platinum Silver, Soft Pink, Light Blue and Champagne Gold. Both feature quad-core 1.2GHz processors, Super AMOLED displays, and 5-megapixel front-facing cameras.
Like other recent Samsung models you’ll find Ultra-Power Savings Mode, Private Mode, and Multiscreen. In terms of camera features, the two pack Wide Selfie, Palm Selfie, Animated GIF, Beauty Face, and more.
