You Think?: Sony Mobile Intends To Cut Down On The Leaks On Their Future Devices

sonyIf you were following the news about the Sony Xperia Z1 even a little, you would have noticed that the phone was one of the most prolifically leaked phones in recent history. From specifications to candid cameos, the Xperia Z1 was seen everywhere and the leaks came thick and fast, accelerating towards the flagship’s announcement at IFA 2013. Some of you will of course have conspiracy theories of controlled leaks and what not, but the above picture may change your mind, about Sony‘s case at least with the Xperia Z1. We have a blown up picture of the writing on the poster:

sony

As you can see, the poster, which is reported to be in the Sony Mobile building, stipulates all the hallmarks of good confidentiality that most companies enjoy, like not sharing pictures of unreleased devices and not showing these devices to outsiders unless a non-disclosure agreement is signed, but whether this poster was placed recently or prior to the Xperia Z1, we can be sure that Sony is going to be a lot more careful with its prototypes in the future.

What did you think about the number of leaks that happened prior to the Sony Xperia Z1 announcement? A few too many, or just business as usual? Let us know what you think in the comments.
