During today’s iPhone media event, Apple announced that its iWork app suite, including Pages, Numbers, and Keynote will be provided for free to customers who purchase a new iOS device. iLife apps iPhoto and iMovie are also included for free, though it appears Garageband will not be bundled into the deal.

According to Apple, the software will be available for free with the purchase of a new iPad, iPhone, or fifth-generation iPod touch.
