American rock band Pearl Jam has released an app for iPhone and iPad that gives fans a mobile portal to connect with the band. Called Pearl Jam Official, the app features a comprehensive timeline of past Pearl Jam concerts, as well as their current tour schedule. Fans can buy tickets for a show from a pop-up browser window. A merchandise shop lets you purchase clothes and other items, also through a browser window.
You can follow Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube posts from Pearl Jam, you can bring up a radio that plays no matter where you are in the app. Members of the Ten Club get access to a certain block of bonus content for free, while non-members can pay $0.99 for access. You can also join the Ten Club from the app, which costs $19.99 per year. The app itself is free and universal, and available on the App Store now.
