Verizon today announced its next Android smartphone, the low-cost Pantech Perception, arrives in late April. Priced at $99.99 with a two-year service agreement and $50 mail-in rebate, the phone runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and comes with specs that closely resemble last year’s top Android’s. Verizon advises that the Jelly Bean update will be arriving before long but declined to provided any time frame.
