Google debuts Santa Tracker Android app

If you’re like me then you will usually find yourself pulling out the Google Maps app on Christmas Eve so that we can keep an eye on Santa’s location. The last thing we want is to be out running around when the jolly fat man comes swinging through our neck of the woods. This year, the tracking of Santa becomes much easier and more fun with the introduction of Google Santa Tracker.

A website launching this morning lets you keep a watchful eye on the North Pole as the elves make toys and ready for the big day. Looking ahead to Christmas , you’ll be able to follow Santa on Google Maps and Google Earth, and get his stats starting at 2:00 a.m. PST Christmas Eve at google.com/santatracker.

While you’re thinking about it, we recommend grabbing the official Android app as well!
