Facebook 2.0 Android app brings the speed

Facebook has today announced a new version of its Android application and this one is all about speed. We’re talking faster launching, faster notifications, faster image views, and faster access to profiles.  The Facebook 2.0 update should be going live later today so keep an eye on your Android smartphone or tablet.

When you’re on your phone, nothing matters more than getting what you want quickly. We’re always working to make our apps faster, and in this update we’ve rebuilt news feed, notifications and Timeline for speed.
