Twitter users can also send Direct Messages to their friends and other users depending on the privacy setting of course. These direct messages can only be seen by the sender and receiver.
Trends
Trends are hash tags that can be used in a tweet to tag a specific page or a caption. For example if my tweet is about the new iPhone, I can tweet ‘’#Apple launched its new #iPhone today.’’
Re-Tweet and Favorite
Users of twitter can re-tweet what other have tweeted. If you like a tweet from your favorite celebrity, you can re-tweet that tweet and share it with your friends. You can also select a tweet as your favorite. A golden start will appear on that tweet showing that that tweet is your favorite and you can view that tweet whenever you want from your profile page.
