ZTE announces slim Grand Era U985 for China

Share

ZTE have announced a few things for their customers and we have some news to pass along for all of you fans out there. Let’s cover their super slim Grand Era U985!

The Grand Era U985 is a historical breakthrough in domestic China handsets: It contains a PC-class Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core CPU and operates on the advanced Android 4.0 platform. It also has 3D acceleration capacity, an 8M-pixel BSI AF HD camera and a 4.5-inch HD retinal screen at a resolution of 1280×720. It is ultra-thin, with an average thickness of 8.6mm and a thickness of 7.9mm at its slimmest section (though it’s still not the world’s thinnest quad-core LTE phone; the Optimus G is 8.45 mm thick). The Grand Era also adheres to an expert-class hardware and software safety protection standard called “Palm Manager,” which was independently developed by ZTE.

This phone is coming to China very soon and might be a great edition to a U.S. carrier. Maybe Big Red? or AT&T? Let us know what you think about this phone in the comments below!
