HTC 7 Pro arriving in UK and rest of Europe ‘early next year’

HTC plans to bring its business-friendly 7 Pro to the UK and rest of Europe in “early next year.” The news comes from Engadget, which also noted it’s too soon to discuss potential carriers.

One would hope virtually every major operator in the country — including Vodafone, Orange, T-Mobile, O2 and Three — will jump on board to offer the QWERTY keyboard-equipped Windows Phone 7 device, though we can’t be sure at the moment. Moreover, since British will have to wait longer, I presume the 7 Pro will ship with Copy/Paste capabilities that will make time pass faster.

To quickly rehash, the HTC 7 Pro comes with a 1GHz CPU, 5-megapixel camera that can take 720p HD video, 576MB of RAM and 512MB of ROM, 3.6-inch WVGA touchscreen, GPS, 3G and WiFi connectivity, and 16 GB of built-in storage. In the U.S. it was announced for Sprint, which will get a CDMA-based version of the device
