hello my friend and thanks very much for everything.i have a question for you.i've installed the destinator pn and did exactly as you mentioned in readme 1st.nfo .the problem is that when i try to start it it says no maps loaded or found.so i;ve downloaded the greek map from destinator 3 and put in the destinator folder.it sees the map but it requires licence number and registration.now i am downloading the latest mpa that you uploaded.will it help.got any suggestions for me?thanks in advance

Hmmm...
I would remove dest3.
You don't need it anymore.
You can make a shortcut of Destinator pn using resco explorer.

it seems that i am completely idiot.i don't know what i've done again and i am back to where i begun.destinator pn runs but when it comes to loading the map it asks for licence key...please whenever you have the time pm me if you can with step by step instructions from the beggining cause i messed up again.thank you

1. You install destinator 3 in the device

No you woan't do that.
9000 has wm5 so you will add all the files manually.

Hey friend, i seem to have problem with installation.

My steps

-Hard reset to my S100
-download from your link dest3, burn it in cd, install it along with the dest.dll and map. Dest3 works perfeclty, no problem.
-download destinator PN from your link.

Now trying to follow the steps above i seem to have problem in sep 2,3,4
-what to you mean install? its a zip file
-the folders dont look like the ones mentioned above,( no visual greek)
i have installed greek with dest3 no prob with that.

.cab files are like setup files for ppc.You just copy them to your ppc and run them with file explorer.
.cab files if you try to run them from pc you`ll just open a ziped file with files that have no sense.

I have read that it is because of the cracked Descore.dll. Please if there is any new "cure" let us know, because Destinator PN is useless with this problem. Secondly, I want to ask if somehow we can find the patch that Destinator Technologies gave out for the WM5 devices running Destinator PN.

I had this problem too. The problem solved from the moment i started to update "Quick GPS" every day. I have hp 6515

I think that when you use the destcore.dll the new version rolls back to the previous one or sth like that.

If the program starts with this destcore.dll then it should be ok with that too(and maybe if the screen shows 5.1.80 will be just wrong indication, but actually the 5.1.172).

An huge thanks for the new greek map. I put it in the destinator apps map together with the "for links" .cab file, i installed it and it shows on the avoid roads menu, roads with toll... He even shows my village in Chalkidiki !!!.:s5: which the previeus version didn't knew...This is how it supposed to be, right?........:p

But i have another small problem.... I copied the greek voice from the destinator 3 to Destinator PN, but when i run the programm couldn't hear any voice commands or notifications:confused: Do u have any sollution to that?

And something else...:-$ I used the greek destinator here in Holland, with the benelux map(of destinator pn), but the gps position (coming from an TomTom wired gps tuner) was very bad. Everytime he jumps out of position like i am in thenext or nearby road...:-# And the given route therefore was also wrong:confused: I have also an bluetooth gps tuner but i didn't tryed yet..

Installed the destinatorpn files , it works fine with my old map,(2005 Q1) . II copied the GREECEU files into the GREECEG folder as posted here but then i get i message saying that the map is corrupted..What am i doing wrong?

A question I Installed Destinator PN with no GPS and I have large delays when i move the map, select rooute and I see no hourglass as in 3.
I have acer n30 no overclock samsung@266.
I have not installed dest 3 but in acer n35 with the same processor dest 3works ok.

I have a similar problem. Unziped Destinator PN Files to my s100 SD card, copied the new PN maps and while the program runs and displays correctly the map, it shows only two icons on the left side. The second one (2D) is twice as big than normal.

Is it perhaps that the pre-installed version is set-up for a VGA screen?

I have also kept the previous version 3 which works okay and I don't think this creates the problem

Hello everybody,

This is my first post and I will try to be useful for everybody!
After reading all of this thread and following many trial & error procedures, I gathered all the needed files together for Destinator PN 5.1.172 and made a .zip file that also contains a simple 10 step guide to install this on your PDA.
I haven't altered any files, I have tried the installation on a MIO 168 and it works 100%, no activation... I will also try this on a MIO 201 tomorrow.
This file contains the greek Destinator PN 5.1.172 with the latest cracked .dll and the latest Greek only maps from NGI. Also included are the higher quality Greek voice messages taken from Destinator3.
I would like to thank all the people that originaly uploaded the files.

@totalcmdex: guys this is not something I have done, I just send you the link to download. If you check the readme file inside the archives you can see who did it.

As for updates, I think they make some from time to time. However, if you are really interested go to the forum of ngi ([Link only for Register Users]) there is a whole (huuuge) threat dedicated to it (inside "Χρήσιμα") and check it out...

@tassos1980: I haven't tried any of the maps inside the pack, yet I believe that they will work fine. Have you tried using the dll file that is offered in the first page?

By the way, I downloaded the whole pack through emule. I have a DSL 384, configured emule with high id (with port forward) and I download it in less than a week. If you have a fast connection try it for yourself, it is a pretty good pack. The maps for Germany and Austria (Alps) are inside CD2. The program and the dll are inside CD1...

Anyway, the last version of PN as program is? ->(I have 5.1.80)
The last version of maps is? -> 2005.Q4.3732 (in unicode form)

@helios: the maps for other countries are huge and I presume this is why no one has uploaded them. Try emule there is the whole destinator pack in 4 cds which has most of the European countries...

@laurian3000: Unfortunately the only good maps from Greece are the ones which are offered through this forum and as far as I know they only come with Greek characters. I know it sucks but the company which developed them is Greek and I believe they only made them with Greek character as they aim in the Greek market only...

Actually they also release them with latin characters. The map is called GreeceE but I don't know where you can get them besides ngi.

2)The indication of "zero" satellites is when the app is allready runinig, and connected to satellites!!! It's certain that it has nothing to do wth your instructions, I only mentioned that to ensure that it is a bug of the cracked dll, so i expect to hear from people who have installed the aplication, to confirm it or not.

I have already added a couple of lines to my instructions but it's not that important anyway! :)
I have personally installed the application the way I describe it in my instructions in 6-7 PPC's and none of them has the 0 satellite bug so it must be machine related maybe... Try to check the "auto-connect" option in the GPS settings...:confused:

I have installed latest destinator PN version and latest Greek maps on a friends Mio 168.
The program runs smoothly but my friend since got it has poor satellite reception at places that destinator 3 has got excellent signal.
Has anyone that problem? is there a bug reported with Mio168?

Hi ! Is it possible to upload the latest destinator PN with the greek maps on another server ? Rapidshare doesn’t work for me. I am on btbroadband and I don’t use proxy or download accelerators, it just doesn’t work… Thanks.

Benelux map is on the first CD of Destinator PN. You can download it from e-mule. I think it also includes directions in Dutch.

The crack is needed for signed maps, that is, not the ones provided in the two CDs of PN.

Noone made it yet. The problem is that MM cutter can not read Unicode maps. Ninja monkey is currently working with DT on his new s/w for car pcs, so I predict that this is the end for the greek map monkey as we know it.

i have tried the new Greek map 3732 Unicode and i found out that many times fot 1 or 2 minutes it hows me about 20 metres out of my real point....
i mean when i am on a city ....
allthought i am on the right road it shows me 20 metres left like i should be on the other road so the navigation is completely wrong...
i changed the map to the older one 3119 and there was no problem like this
it is a pitty because 3732 has much more details...
did anyone have this problem?

yes , i have the same problem on 2 different s100 with bluetooth gps and 3 mio 168 devices.
Some times the fix is right but while driving it changes and the navigations is messed up.
On all 5 devices the error is the same. The position is 20-30 metres upper left from the real position.

.so just load the 3119 Greek map
but it's a pitty...
3732 had much more details....

it doesnt appear on any com port available.i even tried the pocket bluetooth tools but no luck so far.any comments-help?

i had this problem when i have started using me ppc
go to your ppc bluetooth settings.
find the tap "Serial Port" and see the outgoing port (mine is 6)
den go to destinator and se the com port the same as bluetooth settings
hope i helped...
i do not know if aufthentication and encryption is needed but i have it off for serial port.

i have the same problem with both maps.the first time when i install the pn it was working great.
i had some problems with my device s100 and after a format of my device the pn was not working well.it shows me 20-30 meters left from the position i am.

The funny thing is that in first 15 days everything worked fine? What the f..k?
Also, 2 friends of mine who have tried it too,found the same problems!!!
I am probably going to buy it.
Anyone else who tried it for a long time had similar problems?

So it seems that Destinator technologies did a good job and every cracked .dll after a while practically corrupts...
