AT&T has started a new promotion today for would be and current customers who wish to start new line of service with the carrier. No doubt this is primarily aimed at the ‘back to school’ crowd and parent, but that doesn’t make it any less attractive of an offer. Now through September 30th if you add a new line or activate a new account you will receive a $100 bill credit.
As with any promotion, there is a catch. The promotion is only valid if you are rocking the AT&T Next program, which is the 20 or 24 month device payment plan account. You also have to keep the account in good standings for 45 days and your credit will be received within 3 billing cycles. If you have a history of paying late or being suspended for non-payment (like myself), then the credit option probably won’t matter.
