Amazon on Wednesday announced the recent addition of “hundreds of thousands of songs” and hundreds of playlists to its Prime Music service. Included as part of an Amazon Prime account, the experience allows for access to over one million songs at no additional cost. Members can listen via their Android, iOS, PC, Mac, and via their website. Oh, and let’s not forget Amazon’s Kindle Fire HD and Fire HDX tablets, too!

“The response we’ve had to Prime Music has far exceeded our expectations and we’re excited to make Prime Music even more valuable for Prime members,” said Steve Boom, VP of Digital Music for Amazon.

It’s not immediately clear what sort of success Amazon is actually having with the Prime Music though we suspect it’s doing well for itself. For those interested there’s a giant list of recently added playlists with brief descriptions at the link below.
