Moto X’s KitKat details confirmed in leak

Share

It’s no secret that Motorola is readying an Android 4.4 KitKat update for the Moto X – the company has already gone on record as promising such an update for the next few weeks.

The first Android 4.4 KitKat details have surfaced for the Moto X, thanks to a leaked document which outlines some of the features. As one might expect, it sprinkles such as an updated phone dialer, photo editing options in the gallery, and other new platform standards. There’s actually quite a bit more listed so be sure to check out the image below for finer details.

It’s not clear as to when this update will be deployed; the leak comes from those working with Verizon’s soak test. Given that the Moto G is set to arrive in the U.S. with Android 4.4 and the fact we’re nearly a week removed from the announcement, we should see something very soon. Presumably, all carriers roll out Android 4.4 KitKat updates to their respective Moto X’s in a timely manner.
